Which side is appendix pain?

By |
0 Comment

The appendix is typically located in the lower right side of the abdomen. Therefore, pain associated with appendicitis is most commonly felt in the lower right side of the abdomen. The pain may start around the belly button (umbilicus) and then migrate or radiate to the lower right side as the inflammation progresses. The pain is often described as sharp and intense and may worsen with movement, coughing, or deep breathing.

However, it’s important to note that the location of pain can vary from person to person. In some cases, the appendix may be positioned differently or there may be other factors that influence the location of pain. Therefore, while lower right abdominal pain is a typical symptom of appendicitis, it’s always best to consult a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis. They can evaluate the specific symptoms and perform the necessary tests to determine the cause of the pain.
